Data we collect

When you submit a contact or newsletter form, we collect your name (where provided), email address, engagement interest, preferred timeline, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. Cookie data is described on our cookies page.

Purposes and legal bases

We use inquiry data to respond to estimate requests and schedule scope calls (legitimate interests and, where required, pre-contractual steps). Newsletter addresses are used only for field-note mailings you requested. Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand which notes are read.

Retention

Unsuccessful inquiry records are typically retained up to 24 months. Engagement correspondence follows the retention schedule in the engagement letter, often seven years for audit working papers where applicable. Newsletter subscriptions remain until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Subject to Taiwanese personal data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain processing. Contact us at the email above. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority in Taiwan.

International transfers

If we use email or hosting providers that process data outside Taiwan, we apply contractual safeguards appropriate to the destination and purpose. Engagement evidence folders are hosted under arrangements disclosed in the proposal when client files are involved.

Children

This site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this notice and will revise the date above. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated through the engagement contact channel where required.
