About

A practice built for the day the binder meets the floor.

Platform Data Connect helps fintech compliance and operations teams in Taiwan prepare evidence that matches how work is actually done—before a supervisor, partner bank, or board asks to see it.

Origin

The practice began after years of sitting on both sides of fintech reviews in southern Taiwan—supporting payment institutions through licensing follow-ups and later reading partner-bank questionnaires that contradicted the firms’ own outsourcing registers. The gap was rarely missing policy language. It was missing alignment between binders, interviews, and case files.

Based in 屏東市, we travel for field days across Taiwan and stage document review remotely when evidence can be shared securely. Engagements stay deliberately scoped: one legal entity, one primary product line, a named liaison, and a written pack with severity-ranked findings.

People and approach

Field-first interviews

We speak with the staff who open alerts, close complaints, and override screening hits—not only the authors of the procedure manuals. Contradictions become findings, not footnotes.

Evidence over assertion

Reports cite sampled files, dated logs, and observed walkthroughs. Soft claims without attachments are called out so remediation can start with the right folder, not a rewrite of marketing language.

Taiwan context

Materials may be in English or Traditional Chinese. Dual-language packs are checked for drift. Travel within Taiwan is included for engagements based near 屏東市 and nearby counties; further travel is scoped separately.

Independence

We do not sell software, place permanent staff, or represent clients before regulators. The deliverable is an independent findings pack and, when commissioned, a clarification call after delivery.

Working with us

Start with a scope call. If the fit is clear, we send a fixed-fee proposal and an evidence request list before the first interview day.
